Ok, hear me out. I adore a cake smash photo session, but there’s something a tad sad about them to me when it’s the last of a membership for a client that I’ve had the opportunity to get to know & love over the course of the little one’s life thus far!
Seeing this sweet girl go from a brand new, tiny squish to this beautiful little lady over the year has been such a treat! When her mama asked if this session could be focused around the cake smash and motherhood, with just the two of them, I immediately said ‘of course’! If you know me any, you know just how special motherhood photography is to me, so every chance I have to document a mom with her little one, I am in and combining a cake smash with a motherhood session just seems like the most perfect way for moms to celebrate their baby’s birthday, but also celebrate the journey you have both been on over the year. This year, in particular, deserves to be celebrated that we MADE IT.
