Unfortunately for me, I’m getting older and a lot of those moments are disappearing from the memory bank, or deeeeeeply archived in the depths of the preverbal cloud of my brain. Photographs are 100% the key to unlocking the archive for me, though. Suddenly I can picture exact details so vividly and see the juxtaposition standing right in front of me of what I’m seeing in my minds’ eye and just how big my own babies are now. Crazy how the mind works, isn’t it?
