It’s hard to think of anything cuter than a newborn with a head full of hair. Despite my persistent heartburn with all of my pregnancies, I have never been lucky enough to bear a child with a head of hair like this sweet girl (though I guess time will tell – perhaps my luck will change come November).

My friends and I joke sometimes about my youngest son, who as a baby rarely gave up a good smile - one of them called it "giving up the wow".  Her son, conversely, was so easily amused by anything from peekaboo to silly sounds, songs and just about anything.

These twinsies were so funny on picture day. All dressed up, they took turns being the grumpy one. Because of course, as every mom knows, it's nearly impossible to have both kids all fancy for photos and then get them both to smile simultaneously.
