There are few things in this world more delicious than a brand new baby. Seriously. And they're even more incredible as the non-sleep-deprived outsider who gets to catch a short glimpse of them and then give them back (I kid, kind of... :)). But what is really true is that often, as a new mom or dad, you can't really appreciate the magic of a new baby when you're in the throes of parenting a new little human who is absolutely reliant on you for everything. Something about the forest and the trees, they say. Getting to meet Oliver was absolutely a dream. This little guy was absolutely content to snuggle up with mom and dad and was just so very squishy and cute. After a scary and unexpected NICU stay, his mom and dad were thrilled to have him home resting soundly in their arms. It was so fun meeting them, because only just a few short months before, I got to photograph his cousin Eden (and little did I know, but a few months later, I got to photograph his cousin Drew! This extended family had a huge 2016-2017, and I'm so lucky I got to work with ALL of them!!). Here are a few of my favorites from Oliver's gallery.
